Professionally trained home inspectors assist in maintaining the health of your home and a property. Inspection makes home maintenance easy by catching small problems before they become big surprises.

In just a few hours you'll have a detailed report of the condition of your home so that you can plan for needed repairs and upgrades when it’s time to make them. When purchasing a home, many home buyers have saved literally thousands of dollars through information provided by the home inspector. Home owners who have owned their homes for several years can even benefit from a home inspector's knowledge of maintenance and repairs, and experience to avert potential problems.

 What Is a Home Inspection?

The home inspection is a thorough, in-depth visual examination of the structure and operating components of the home.  Trained licensed professionals provide this service.  The inspector will be in your home two to three hours.

Your inspector will follow a detailed checklist.  You are invited to accompany your inspector as he examines the house.  Your inspector will prepare a detailed report documenting:  the condition of the house components; major and minor deficiencies, and what to watch out for.  Your inspector will show you: how things work; how to remedy minor deficiencies; and make suggestions if subject matter experts are required.

Your inspector will completely review the inspection report with you.

 Keeping Things in Perspective

All homes have problems. The question is what and how serious are the problems. We can help you understand important issues relating to your home and will communicate that to you. We are sensitive to the emotions present during the transaction and know that the timely delivery of the message is as important as its content. When discussing problems, we may suggest solutions and maintenance programs.
